This is my Teacup, Blue Merle, Long Haired, Deer Head Chihuahua. She has been with us since I was eight. She has always been the cute, furry, loving, energetic dog that can dance gangnam style when she is asking for something. She is also the first dog I got. First, I took the pictures outside, I put her on the table and made sure that the sun was in the best position for lighting, and I made sure that the background wasn't too cluttered, so the framing was good. These portraits also have informal balance. Then, however, after I realized that she was getting distracted by things happening outside, I decided to take her inside, so she was near a window for natural lighting. I also grabbed a banana on the way, and held it behind the camera, so all attention of my dog was toward the camera. I also adjusted the framing by blurring the background a tiny bit.
